Adventures in Jewelry Making

so, i never thought i'd be a jewelry designer, and perhaps "designer" is too strong a word.  jewelry artist is probably more accurate, but dang, it's fun. 

i've been exploring new kinds of stones and playing with patterns and methods of creating pretty and unique pieces.  one of my favorites is my rose necklace:

i love the purple charoite and the funky dalmatian roses.  it was really a ton of fun making this too...even if i had to un-string the beads at one point because i was crowding too many on the wire.  oh well!  it's all part of the adventure of creating fun, wearable art!
